First Time Central Heating

Is you heating source: Oil, LPG, solid fuel or Electric Heat

Your Eco Grants specialise in obtaining government grants to improve the energy efficiency of UK homes. We do all the hard work from applying, through to installation.

First time central heating grants (FTCH) are available as part of the ECO4 Scheme. The scheme  is a government initiated scheme and is intended to run from 1 April 2022 to 31 March 2026. The main objective of ECO4 is to deliver improvements to the least energy-efficient homes in Great Britain to tackle fuel poverty and help reduce energy bills.

This is achieved through installation of energy efficient upgrades such as heating upgrades, insulation and renewable measures. The scheme is funded by the biggest energy providers such as British Gas, EDF, EON and more

If you have no heating system or a system that doesn’t involve a boiler and radiators, then you will be eligible for the grant. Please see below the full list of heating types which enable you to qualify:

  • Gas room heaters; including fixed mains gas room heaters.
  • Gas fire with back boiler.
  • Solid fossil fuel fire with back boiler.
